CIX 670... I need to connect an external paging system to the CIX 670. I have other campuses already working this way. I beleive a pair is connected to one of the CO ports. The CO port is turned on and wide open. The (Page) button is then turned to this port. When someone pushes the page button from any extension it accesses the paging system. My question is how and where do I find the programming for the ports and the page button in emanager?

Does the CIX 670 not have an External Page RCA port right under the MOH port?

The CIX 670 only has MOH jack.
If it is just a CO trunk, there will not be any other programming. You would either add the CO to one of the buttons or use the #7 trunk access code.
The only thing that would be programed different then a regular CO is immediate cut-thru should be enabled for that trunk.

The CIX 100 has a paging port on the processor.

Thanks Newtecky, Next question. I know where the "button" programming is for the individual extensions in eManager. Where is the master programming at? So all the extensions will access the port when they push the page button on there phone.

Make sure you enable cut-through on that trunk port in eManager.

After you program a button on an extension, use copy to copy that button to all the extensions that you want to have that button.

After you hit copy, select that button. If you are using Net Emanager, select all the extension (except VM extensions) by either holding down the button, clicking on the first and holding shift while clicking on the last, or using Ctrl click to select indevidual extensions.
