We're in the midst of ordering a PRI for our cix100, and I need to known if it's possible to setup outgoing calling # ID sent out on a per-DN basis.
For example most of the time I would want my DID # sent out so I can be called back directly. However there are occasions when I'd want the main # to be sent when I'm calling certain people so return calls would be screened by receptionist.
We're doing this through our tosh dealer so I don't need the down and dirty but want to know 1) is this possible and 2) where is the setting located in emanager (so i can see where it is if/when anything needs to be changed) (I have a copy of emanager on my computer).
Thanks guys.

I am not familiar on this but the Toshiba guy did tell me its outgoing DNIS or something. But in the end, we tested it and it works.
One thing is, those published numbers must be within the PRI's DID number range, which I was not aware of.

program 321 looks like it sends calling # on a per-OLG basis, is that correct, so we would need to set up a new OLG for each # we want the CIX to send? Trying to get everything straight before we start setting up. Thanks.

Outgoing caller ID can be set per DN in Calling number programing.
Not aware of a way to change outgoing callerID on Per call basis(as if you wanted some calls to show Main DID when calling certain ppl), unless you could use a Phantom DN to make calls on.

Prg 321 sets the Default calling number and prefex for the OLG. PRG 322 will set the Calling number per DN. If assigned, this number will be used instead of default. The Prefex is added first.

Your PRI circuit provider has to allow it in their switch. Just call them and make sure they have it set so you can over-ride the outbound caller ID. Then check Prog. 321 and 322 as stated above.

Program 321 and call-by-call services will allow you to change the outbound CNIS on a per call basis from the same station. But like Dan said, you're PRI provider has to allow it in their switch.

I can set up phantoms to do it as needed, and just set my phone to grab my prime DN normally unless I specifically press my phantom. I am a big fan of the phantom DNs we already have several set up. I'm looking at PRG 322 now, I see "source type" with options Prime DN, Group CO, and pool line group. When i select source type: prime DN and click list, I only get a list of my real (prime) DNs, no phantoms. Has anyone done this or anything like it before to make sure we can do the special # assignments on phantoms? Thanks for the help guys.

No you can't. The phantom takes on the identity of the owners DN. Thats why when you dial a phantom DN that is owned by ext. 200, you can pick it up by dialing #5#5200. As far as I know, you can only adjust CID on the prime DN.
