Your answer is vague
* not working from anywhere?

Unless the carrier does not seeing the *
To test call the main line, get to a mailbox greeting and press *, see if it takes you back to main menu.
Return to AA must be set to Yes.

As I stated in a previous post, calling from anywhere meant from other copper phone lines, other T1 circuits and other PBX types. I have the * internally and it works fine, but again not calling in from the outside world.

I meant from internal dialing back in or from home etc.
Seek help from the carrier then or upgrade to 3.1

Curlycord, I tried what you said and yes I do get back to the main menu. I have stated that the voicemail works just fine internally.
Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

Try hitting # while listening to a mailbox greeting. It should take you to the beep right away.

If not this a carrier issue. Not passing *#

That's what I am getting at Marv.

Also double check under system properties that the interface is NVM and not CP mode.

I think 88 is to check messages in CP mode

CP interface = 88 ??

I use a CP-100 but I still do the ** to get my messages and my MB is the CP interface.
And I do not find 88 in the flow chart.

Where did I miss the 88 command ?
Are you talking about Option-xx Call Pilot ???

If CON is the opposite of PRO
Then what is the opposite of Progress?

CP's destined for some other countries use 88.

I was talking about the system interface, not a mailbox interface.....however that may not matter.

Either way on both modes I am pretty sure you can also enter the DN of the Callpilot to check messages remotely.

I checked the #, that feature does work from off site. When I press the ** it still just go to nothing.
