Have received a referral from a CG buddy of mine to take over a client with 2 locations. 1 MICS with 8 copper lines and 1 CICS with 2 lines. OK, spoke with client, they were sold 2 NT9B10aaaa gateways,to use to connect systems,They use Comcast vpn between sites and were told these work well for systems,my searchs here seem to say otherwise. Any help or pms would be great.Thanks----John

As I understud you are trying to connect 2 system together, are you? I am not familiar with Comcast product. Is it channel bank? which converts T1 into POTS? If CICS has only 2 lines how are you going to use'em? Just call other side and make outgoing call of the MICS? Give more details, please. As you aware of CICS doesn't have a T1 capabilities.

Client is using Comcast cable for VPN access for data between 2 sites{internet}.I'm doing site visit on Tuesday to see EQ.They have on hand 2 Norstar gateways in box and were told they will work. I'm used to working with T1 or channel bank type access.Basic info shows need for a 4 loop start line card for this at each location.---John
